Correspondance is Olivier Hébert’s second album. At the head of his LOFI OCTET, this multi-instrumentalist practices the balance between the sensuality of the string quartet and the ardor of jazz. These two worlds merge thanks to a work of writing bringing out the best of both worlds. The astounding result of this stylistic intermingling blurs the limits of chamber music and contemporary jazz.
