Born in Vero Beach, Florida, Ricky Jones has been singing all his life. As the son of a Preacher, Ricky and his brothers and sisters grew up singing in the church choir. It wasn’t long after that that he began entering and winning every talent show he came across in school and abroad.

In college, Ricky quickly became the crowd pleaser as the lead singer for the renown band at the illustrious Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he graduated with law school on his mind. A summer trip to Los Angeles, California changed all of that! Music was in the air and Ricky Jones signed to Motown Records as the lead singer and writer for the 3 man group Yours Truly.
