For his new project, the “Wiener Winterreise” with Florian Krumpöck at the piano, he reinterprets Franz Schubert’s “Winterreise” and brings the song cycle in its Viennese dialect into the present day.

With this musical project, which is dedicated to the Lieder work of Franz Schubert, the two musicians go back to the origin of the art song. In the course of the song cycle, the listener becomes more and more the companion of the Wanderer, the central figure of the “Winterreise”. After a love experience of his own decision without goal and hope, he moves out into the winter night.
