Rumors of Tommy Tokyo’s musical death are greatly exaggerated! Not too long after he proclaimed that he had resigned, he is now back. This is gratifying news for us who have been following the man since Octopusdrunk & Arms to Prove It from 2008. Now she sings in English again and lets De Bipolare rest in favor of a close collaboration with multi-instrumentalist and producer Gøran Grini (Paal Flaata, Chip Taylor, Hege Brynildsen). The nine songs that make up The remaining Days of Life must be described as “prime time” Tokyo. Highly melodic, with great thematic range and with Tommy’s distinctive, alternately sore and powerful voice well placed in a detailed and crystal clear soundscape.
