Uptight is a Parisian band addicted to the scene whose sound navigates between Soul and Heavy-Funk. Honed over the concerts (the New Morning, the Point Ephémère, Enghien Jazz festival…) Uptight’s show propels you into a new dimension with liberating energy.
The band also took their Soul to Tanzania during a festival in Dar es salaam and a tour in Vietnam. In 2015, Uptight recorded a first LP in self-production entitled “Soul Kitchen” followed in 2017 by an EP 3 tracks self-titled “UPTIGHT”. In October 2019 the band released their new EP “Tomorrow is my turn” recorded live on analog tape for an ever more authentic sound. To listen absolutely!
