James Eleganz went to California at the legendary Rancho de la Luna studio to record the album The Only One, surrounded by Larry Mullins aka Toby Dammit (former Stooges drummer, keyboard Nick Cave on his current tour, and director for many artists including in France Marie Modiano, Keren Ann, Raphael, Stephan Eicher among others). The former Success band musician is now turning to rock and this turn suits him perfectly, especially since for the occasion, James Eleganz has surrounded himself with mythical figures in the history of rock. At the realization of the disc, one finds Toby Dammit, percussionist and arranger, close collaborator of Iggy Pop and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Joined the adventure Mike Watt, bassist of Stooges and founder of Minutemen.
