Infectious, hypnotic and atmospheric debut album from the London-born, Berlin-based band. The motorik of Krautrock paired with electro insignias, claps, toms and shakers, plus a Tom Wait’s swampiness, which manifests itself in brilliant guitar blues & jazz licks that create exciting restlessness, and grandiose, the senses with a sense of pop melodicism and sphericism gorgeous semi-whisper vocals, which reminds a bit of Marten Devoldere (Warhaus) or Fuyji & Miyagi, wow. Sometimes a good shot of No Wave is added The disparate influences of psychedelic rock, blues, NYC punk funk and techno merge into a fantastic whole here. Sometimes halfway danceable, sometimes for swinging, with dynamics and smack, great!
