Harmonica player Sondre Ferstad releases his second album in his own name, and this is celebrated with a release concert at Dokkhuset the same day! With him he has three fantastic musicians who together constitute a nuanced and responsive chamber musical ensemble.
“Snirkelsongar” is a collection of small subtle melodies written by harmonica player Sondre Ferstad. The music is low-key, intimate and melodious, and is built around the comfort organ, which binds him together with his soft sound and creaking pedal pulling. The music has references to hymns, folk songs and folk music. Heidi Skjerve and Maren Barlien have written texts about the near and last.
